Video and images

Media is placed directly on the slide and stays as a real file in the presentation folder.

Add media

Drag an image or video from your file manager and drop it onto the slide. It lands where you drop it, at its natural aspect ratio.

Videos start muted, looped, and set to autoplay. Change those options under Props after selecting the video.

Preview video

Double-click a video on the slide to play or pause it. You can also use Play preview under Props.

Trim

Select a video, then drag the Start and End controls under Props → Trim. Trimming is non-destructive: the original file is unchanged, and playback simply stays inside the selected range.

Use Reset trim to restore the full clip.

Crop

Select an image or video and click Edit mask. Drag the handles on the slide to change the visible area, or drag the picture itself to slide it around behind the window. Click Done editing mask when the framing is right.

Cropping is non-destructive. Use Reset crop to reveal the full frame again. Turn on Circular mask for a round crop: the window becomes a true circle whatever the picture's shape, and the picture keeps its own proportions behind it -- drag it in Edit mask to choose what the circle shows.

Effects

Under Props → Effects, choose Blur, Posterize, or Greyscale. Adjust the value, reorder stacked effects with the arrows, or remove one with ×.

Effects work on both images and videos.
